Traditional Matte Paintings

The Matte Painting portion of these images were painted on glass and masonite. Usually I used oils for clouds and skies; cartoon color / acrylic for everything else. The body of work below was done while I was employed at Matte World. Mike Pangrazio was my mentor while there.
